A game of Pong synced to music is my new favorite visualizer.
Winamp is fondly remembered for its trippy audio visualizers, and that’s probably why I’m obsessed with Victor Tao’s Song Pong. By altering the game’s physics, the paddle hits perfectly sync to the individual notes of a song.
You can download Tao’s modified version of the game on GitHub, but you’ll need to supply your own MIDI files.
