Visvia were Chiss units of distance, corresponding to approximately 1.6 kilometers each.[1] In 27 BBY,[2] the commander of the Chiss Picket Force Two engaged a Trade Federation task force with a Chiss fighter. The Trade Federation's droid starfighters fought the Chiss ship, however, they were close enough to Thrawn's Chiss assault cruiser Springhawk, and were jammed after Thrawn inquired a Human aboard his cruiser if ten thousand visvia was the correct operating range for the droids.[1]
