A human served as a commander in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] the commander was stationed onboard the Alliance's flagship, the Home One, when the cruiser's systems malfunctioned, send the ship into chaos. The commander reported to Admiral Gial Ackbar, that the Home One's defense, maneuvering, and weapons systems were all locked and that the ship was think it was in the middle of battle, even though no enemy was present. Ackbar ordered the commander to run diagnostics and to get slicers to break into the systems in order to get the ship under control. Eventually, Lando Calrissian discovered Lobot was the cause for the mayhem and was able to bring it to an end.[1]
