John Powell , the composer of Solo , worked with Williams for the new theme early in the scoring process, together collaborating with the film's director, editors, and producers to incorporate it into the rest of the film score. The theme was then developed in a variety of ways by Powell into other parts of the score, with the searching theme, a suite Williams did that lasted approximately one-and-a-half to two minutes, eventually being used in the film's opening titles.[3]
