An alphabet was used by the Houk species of the Outer Rim Territories planet Lijuter to write their language, Houkese. The primitive alphabet contained a set of letters that were used to represent simple verbs, while complicated pictograms were used to write nouns.[1]

The Houkese alphabet was mentioned in Ultimate Alien Anthology, a 2003 sourcebook published by Wizards of the Coast for use with the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[1]
