The Financial Reform Act was a bill introduced to the Galactic Senate in 23 BBY. The goal of the bill was to address and reduce the amount of corruption that was causing the Republic to stagnate. However, after the assassination of Senator Jheramahd Greyshade, and the revelation that he had been murdered by Tsian on Venco Autem's orders in an attempt to prevent the bill's passage, the Act never got to a vote.

Shortly afterwards, the first systems began to secede from the Republic, and the failure of the Financial Reform Act to pass was viewed by many as the cause of the exacerbation of the Separatist Crisis, which ultimately led to the Clone Wars.
