Benis was a female individual who served as a technician in the Alliance to Restore the Republic as a member of the Massassi Group around the time of the Battle of Yavin. Benis was a diligent and organized worker, keeping an inventory of flight suits and helmets that were accompanied by an icon guide to ensure the pilot's helmets were never mixed up. She was capable with a hydrospanner, which she would use when working on starships. Nera Kase regarded her as a very skilled tech.^[1]
