Overview

Salesman is a free, non-profit online economic simulation game. The player purchases new & used cars around the world and then trys to sell them using stragety and make a profit. Eventually the player can start up their own business, hire employees, manage inventory, sales, products, prices, advirtising, business money, and more. You have to make sure you have inventory to sell to the public (An automated computer-controlled environment). You can look at reports of the sales of your business within the past 7 days at a glance, or go into a detailed report that goes back to the start of the business. You can hire/fire different types of employees, such as Cashiers, Salesman, Greeters, Security Guards, Managers, 7 engineers. Each employee has their own advantage to your business, and each has their own salary that YOU set. If your salary is less than your competitors, your employees may leave to go back into the employee pool (List of all unemployeed, employeed, and the avarage salary of all employees in the game) and possible join another business. Each employee unlocks special "Business Improvements" that can further enhance your franchise. Such as, the "Security Guard" employee type unlocks "Security Cameras" that you can have installed on all of your dealerships (For a fee). This gives you a less chance of getting robbed. Also, each security guard you have also decreases your chance of gettting robbed. This brings us to Dealerships. You can start a business, but need dealerships to sell cars. Your first dealership is included in the cost of starting a business, but you need to build others in cities to increase your sales. The cities in Salesman are dynamic, meaning that the "population" is how many players live in that city. Players get "Strength" hourly depending on where they live in the game. You spend this strenght on various things, like buying/selling cars, starting businesses, hiring/firing employees, moving, buying land for your business, etc. Read more by going to the offcial site, Salesman.
