McSyl was created after BobVillars ceased editing in March 2024 and just before BobVillars was globally locked for sockpuppetry. After creation, McSyl returned to 10 pages frequently edited by BobVillars and resumed a pattern of similar edits. (For example, McSyl re-uploaded a logo previously uploaded by BobVillars, then deleted.) Both accounts also use the word "Erratum" in edit summaries to describe a minor fix.
