Copying from other sources.

Hello, and again welcome to Wikipedia. Just a quick note: the Myntdu River "Projects: section appears to be entirely copied from this source. It might be a good idea to have a look at this quick guide. --Shirt58 (talk) 03:06, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Umngot River, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.india9.com/i9show/Umngot-River-71406.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. A tag has been placed on Bhanwari Devi(1992 case), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Copy paste page move of Bhanwari Devi

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mifter Public (talk) 20:44, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jowai, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages MP and MLA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 00:17, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Mangalore International Airport (India) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • into the valley from a height of about {{convert|90|m|ft|abbr=on}} to {{convert|9|m|ft|abbr=on}}) within a short distance of just {{convert|500|m|ft|abbr=on}} on the east of the runway and from

Moving pages

[edit]

Please do not move pages by copying and pasting text at the new title. Doing so loses the history of the article, which is required for copyright reason. To move an article, use the move tab foumd by clicking on the downwards-pointing arrow to the left of the search box at the top of the page. Is the airport's official title "Mangalore International Airport"? Further info at WP:MOVE and WP:COPYPASTE. Avy questions, please ask. Mjroots (talk) 09:17, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Information icon Hello, I'm ThePlatypusofDoom. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Category:Cities and towns in Jaintia Hills district without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
