Hope is an upcoming American television series based on an adaption by Alice Bell from the Norwegian film of the same name which has been chosen as the Norwegian entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 93rd Academy Awards, and is produced by Nicole Kidman, who stars.

Premise

The series will unfold over twelve days, delving into the dynamics of a family's Christmas reunion. Set within a large, intricate blended family, the show will explore the unraveling of a marriage involving six children from previous relationships. At its core, the series is a tale of rediscovering love and connection amidst the complexities of family life.[1]

In January 2021, it was reported that Amazon Studios has secured the rights to adapt the Norwegian film Hope into a series. The series is being adapted by Alice Bell, who will also serve as an executive producer with Nicole Kidman set to star and serve as an executive producer through her Blossom Films production company.[1]
