Jeltfr

Status:    Not done

I want to be renamed to Jelt. I already possess the account on the French wikipedia, but I can't have a SUL because of a Jelt on a the japanese wikipedia. It was refused on the japanese wikipedia because "target username already existed, and every usurpation requests closed from 17 July 2013, as per local-policy. Anyway you haven't qualifications for requesting usurpation of the username". Here is the link to my request on the English wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Changing_username/Simple#Jeltfr_.E2.86.92_Jelt and on the Japanese: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:USURP#Jeltfr_.E2.86.92_Jelt

I'm unclear what you are requesting. We cannot override the jawiki decision. Where are you asking to be renamed? QuiteUnusual (talk) 09:43, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

I want my English account to be renamed Jelt and fused with my French account. Is it possible or should I give up my username?Jeltfr (talk) 11:54, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Ah I see. This is done on enwiki on the basis of the request you have already raised there. It isn't possible to "fuse" accounts except via SUL. Have you tried visiting Special:Mergeaccount while logged in as Jelt on frwiki? QuiteUnusual (talk) 13:49, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
My problem is that I can't login on wikimedia with my French account. It only works on the frwiki, and nowhere else. Jeltfr (talk) 15:53, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

You have the global account Jeltfr which is active on enwiki, frwiki, jawiki, metawiki and nlwiki. It has no conflicting local accounts which would belong to someone else. When you log in as Jeltfr, you are logged in globally with that name.
You also seem to have the account Jelt on frwiki (22 edits), for which there is no corresponding global account. However, on jawiki there is a user with the same name with 531 edits, and on nlwiki there is one with 2 edits. Because there is no global account, you are not logged in globally when you log in as Jelt@frwiki.
During the SUL finalization, your account Jelt@frwiki would be renamed to Jelt~frwiki@global, and the account Jelt@nlwiki will be renamed to Jelt~nlwiki@global. Jelt@jawiki will receive the global account, as he has the highest number of edits. You have the following options now:

  • Either your choose to be renamed from Jelt to Jeltfr on frwiki; and use Jeltfr as your global account name everywhere.
  • Or you make more than ~510 edits now with your account Jelt@frwiki before the SUL finalization happens, by which you would receive the global account under that name (you could then afterwards request your Jeltfr accounts to be added to that SUL account)
  • Or you try to talk to the jawiki bureaucrats again whether they do not want to have the courtesy to make an exception and rename Jelt@jawiki anyway, because that account is blocked as a sockpuppet since 5 years; and your account on frwiki is in fact older than that sock (24 July 2006 vs. 19 August 2007). Then as well you could get your account unified under the global name Jelt.
  • Or you choose a new name altogether. --MF-W 16:11, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your answer. I think I'll just rename my account as Jeltfr everywhere, and try later to usurp the SUL Jelt when I'll have more contributions. The other solutions seem too complicated to me. Jeltfr (talk) 07:42, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Ok, in this case you can either do nothing now; or if you want to have those 22 edits you made on frwiki as "Jelt" to be registered under your global account name", then request on frwiki that your Jeltfr account there with 3 edits gets renamed to something else, and that the Jelt accounts with 22 edits gets renamed to Jeltfr.
However, you will most likely not be able to take over the name Jelt later. That would only be possible in the cases described above (point 2/3). --MF-W 16:05, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Родолюбец

Status:    Not done

Hi there. Without I created a user account, I want to get back the previous settings. I have many profiles for renaming, now I see that is a problem for them. I am an active member of the Bulgarian Wikipedia. Please help!? --Targovishtenec bg (talk) 15:07, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

What's the problem exactly? --MF-W 15:09, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
I created user accounts in about 50 sections of Wikipedia, as the projects Wikidata, Meta Wiki with the name "Targovishtenec_bg", only in Serbian Wikipedia am "Народняк". In the future, looking to rename to "Родолюбец". At the moment I can not sign in "Targovishtenec_bg" and "Народняк" individually with its unified user account "Родолюбец". I can not edit with username "Родолюбец", user page "Targovishtenec_bg" and "Народняк". Now I do not know what to do ... --Targovishtenec bg (talk) 16:23, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
CentralAuth can only connect accounts with the same name. You would need to rename your other accounts to Родолюбец in order to be able to attach them to your unified account. --MF-W 17:11, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

Kioo

Status:    Not done

I want to usurp the following accounts

--82.233.63.200 20:03, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Both projects have active bureaucrats, which need to be asked (see the links on this page). Also, in your requests please provide a difflink on an edit you made on a wiki where you own the account Kioo to prove that the usurp request is indeed from you. --MF-W 21:05, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. I did it on meta site. But fa.wikipedia.org is in persan, it's very hard to me to do a good request for renaming "Kioo1" in "Kioo".
You can do it via this link. --MF-W 23:58, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Please change the username "Guycn1" to "Guycn2" in the Hebrew Wikinews.

Please note:
I asked in the past to change my username from "Guycn2" to "Guycn1" And now I regret and ask to undo the change that was made in the past.

Thanks and sorry for bothering, Guycn2 (talk) 21:09, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
