The Phi system was an F class white star with an associated system located near the edge of the galaxy in its Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

History and specifics[]

Phi's orbit included at least 11 planets, including Phi XI and its three moons. It was not far from the system containing the Ur homeworld.

In the 13th century, a starship pilot possessed by an Ur visited the system and crashed on Phi XI.

In the 23rd century, a Federation colony was established in the system.

In 2269, the USS Enterprise was diverted there by Starfleet to check on the colony. (TOS - Year Four comic: "Issue 3")
