piddler (plural piddlers)

  1. One who piddles; a trifler or time-waster.
  2. (slang) One who urinates.
  3. (prison slang) A prisoner who works in a craft shop.
    • 2002, Jorge Antonio Renaud, Behind the Walls, page 88:
Many piddlers use the craft shop as a way of improving their quality of life while in prison. They make just enough money to buy food, to gamble, and to occasionally mail something home.
