Talk:parentheses

Hello. I'm a complete newbie to Wiktionary, so I thought I'd ask this to make sure it really is a mistake. Is "parantheses" supposed to be spelled with an a rather than an e like that? I'm not sure if it's supposed to mean that the modern "parentheses" is supposed to be derived from "parantheses" or what. Any help would be appriciated. --Pie4all88 17:52, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- You're right--it was misspelled. Should be 'parentheses'. I fixed it. Derivations are usually under a separate heading 'Etymology'. Congrats for noticing. RSvK 20:04, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
