You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 03:04, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good day, McGill1974! I wanted to thank you for your stellar work on this page. See, he was my grandfather, and it wasn't until recently that I finally found out that there was a Wiki page covering his work. Thank you again so much for your effort. I truly appreciate it.

MiLB Player Page

[edit]

Hi there, I saw your name on the Project Baseball/Participant List, and am in need of some help with a page that was recently rejected (Draft:Adam_Klein_(baseball)). If you'd be willing to help me, please let me know. Thank you very much in advance. Take care.--WikiWriter135 (talk) 23:17, 24 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A while back, the batting average article was split into batting average (baseball) and batting average (cricket). I notice you have edited some baseball articles recently, including adding some stats with links to batting average. Ideally you should use the sport specific version (as happens for things like run (baseball)) so the link leads to the correct place. There was a bot run to do the changes on articles at the time, I do occasional checks to amend articles created / edited since then. Many thanks. Leonel Carrion

[edit]

You created two articles in Oct 2019 with very similar spellings. They look as though they should be merged into one article and the other just set as a redirect. They are Leonel Carrión and Leonel Carríon -- WOSlinker (talk) 14:48, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:38, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. Thanks! McGill1974 (talk) 17:30, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
