PAUL LITTLE

Paul Little has a B.A. degree in Political Science from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master’s in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. He is married to Laurie Bollman-Little, a Los Angeles public high school English teacher. They are the parents of two children,Cameron and Courtney.

Paul Little is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. He has been a communications and public relations consultant with VMA Communications,Inc.in Claremont, CA, where he was responsible for communications, public, media relations and community relations activities for local school districts, community colleges, public agencies and specialty clients. He was formerly Communications Director for a small college in Claremont, and was Director of Communications at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. Prior to accepting that position, Mr. Little worked in the entertainment industry, beginning as a production assistant and leaving after rising to a production and development executive position.

Paul Little is a founding director of the Bungalow Heaven Neighborhood Association in Pasadena, and served on the board from 1989 to 1995. He has served as a member of the board and Treasurer of the Pasadena Community Access Corporation as well as the North Lake Avenue Specific Plan working group and other city task forces and committees.

In 1995, Paul Little was elected to the Pasadena City Council representing District 2. He was re-elected in 1999 and 2003. Mr. Little serves as chair of the City Council’s Finance Committee, and is a member of the Economic Development and Technology Committee. Mr. Little was three times chair of the Los Angeles to Pasadena Metro Blue Line Construction Authority, which built the $700 million light rail line to Pasadena. He also has chaired the Project D.A.Y. (Diversion Activities for Youth) Policy Board.

Mr. Little's public service has earned him recognition from local, state and federal governments. His advocacy for hte City of Pasadena twice earned him recognition as Thorny Rose of Pasadena's infamous Doo Dah Parade.
