Addition to the "History" Section

[edit]

Hello! I am new to Wikipedia, particularly its main space, and have worked hard on gathering information in order to update the "History" section. I have added information from 2014-2022 in regards to the FIFA Ethics Committee. I would love some feedback on how I did in completing my addition and if there is anything I can do to improve on it. Syntax and Grammar changes

[edit]

I have combed through this wiki page and fixed some minor grammar and syntax errors for tone. I aso have reason to believe this sentence, "Scholars estimate that FIFA's past two decades of corruption totals around $150 million", despite being properly sourced, is incorrect. I would guess the number is closer to 150 billion. Perhaps a correction to clarify that this umber represents only the violation made public from FIFA. Below I am linking an article that details a corrupt exchange between Qatar and France involving $15 billion and the most recent WC: https://www.thedailybeast.com/sepp-blatter-says-nicolas-sarkozy-pressure-on-fifa-to-give-qatar-world-cup-linked-to-dollar14b-fighter-jet-deal DovC123 (talk) 16:36, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
