Endorsement for President

Is it appropriate for the article to mention that Professor Herschbach publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton for President in 2016? I've added a section, with a source; if not appropriate, please feel free to revert it. HandsomeMrToad (talk) 10:45, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. It seemed a bit awkward and out of place, unconnected to anything else in the article. If Herschbach were known for participating in politics, it might belong in that section.
