Are those not faithful photographs of works in pubic domain? If not, is there a way I can salvage those by only leaving the part in public domain (e.g. using croptool to only leave the pages and remove everything around)? Veverve (talk) 15:14, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The bible itself is PD, but as this is a three dimensional object, the photograph is not automatically also PD and needs a license and a permission. You probably can solve the problem for most images by cropping the images to a two dimensional part. --Didym (talk) 15:52, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
