Neutral Point of View

[edit]

The following text is, in my opinion, a breach of the NPOV rule: The title "Khan Bahadur" was originally conferred by the Mughal invaders on Muslim subjects in recognition of public services rendered and was adopted by British-occupied India for the same purpose and extended to cover other non-Hindu subjects of the India. Hindu subjects of British-occupied India were conferred the title of "Rai Bahadur". Creuzbourg (talk) 22:27, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Refining criteria

[edit]

Given that there were apparently a lot of people who were honored with the Khan Bahadur, and that not everyone who wants to submit something about their honored ancestor properly understands what we accept as a source...

perhaps the list should be pared down to include only those individuals about whom we already have articles? Bluelinks only?
