Bangladesh University holds seminar on OBE

A seminar on 'Understanding and Addressing Outcome Based Education (OBE): Preparing for Self Assessment, Peer Review and OBE based Curriculum towards Accreditation' held at Joint Tech Lab of Bangladesh University (BU) yesterday.
Honorable Vice-Chancellor of BU Prof Dr Anwarul Haque Sharif chaired the seminar where Engr Quazi Taif Sadat, Director (Technical) was the chief guest. Dr Md Abdur Razzak, Associate Professor, Department of EEE, Independent University, Bangladesh, was the keynote speaker as an OBE expert.
Outcome Based Education (OBE) is a target oriented educational system, where each student should achieve specific goals by the end of their educational experience. The self assessment report to be prepared is based on OBE oriented curriculum that will enable the departments to achieve IEB Accreditation.
