To add my two bits: would have been good to see a more explicit focus on the potential for NFP models to provide needed services, and to highlight the need for systematic policy development to support this. Public health requires refine art of story-telling and convincing. Public, for the most part, easily bored with numbers and medical jargons. You don’t go to an accountant and tell them about blocked toilets that you fixed. When it comes to public health and my extensive experience on ground, let them know how something in healthcare or public health issues you want to highlight, is impacting things that are dear to them. Tell the parents how a public health issue could impact their children, how ever that may be. It is so important that it bares repeating: Public health requires art of story-telling, especially to the community.

I can not *not* post this here, of course. A whole chapter from the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism annual Digital News Report, launched yesterday, is dedicated to my favourite subject in media - ‘user needs' topic. 10+ charts and graphs, a truly global outlook (40+ countries surveyed!) and lots of actionable data on one of the main trends in the publishing industry. Who would have thought that in 2016-2017, when Santanu Chakrabarti and Andy Jones from BBC World Service Audiences team brought what now can be safely called a *seminal* report to me, and the rest is history. 7-8 years from a research idea to a whole chapter in a global report (with a vital role played towards the end of this period by smartocto, Rutger Verhoeven and Erik Van Heeswijk!) - hats off to you, dear colleagues. Thank you, Rasmus Kleis Nielsen and Nic Newman for deciding to include this chapter in your report, and thank you, Richard Fletcher, for writing it. The link to this chapter is in the first comment.
