Septimiu Sever(1926-2017)

Septimiu Sever was a Romanian film and theater actor. He graduated from Royal Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1947. In 1948 he was employed at the Dramatic Theater "Radu Stanca" in Sibiu and from 1949 he was employed at the Bulandra Theater in Bucharest. In 1952, he plays his first role in the movie Mitrea Cocor. Other notable roles are in La varsta dragostei (1957), Dacii (1967) and Mihai Viteazul (1971). In 1971, together with his wife, Erastia Peretz emigrated to France. Then, in 1972 moved to Canada, where he settled in Montréal. In Canada he acted in French-language Canadian television films. He died on August 15, 2017 in Richelieu, Quebec, Canada.
