Paul Vanezis is a key member of the Doctor Who Restoration Team and a person actively involved in the search for missing episodes. He notably was directly involved in the recovery of the first three episodes of The Reign of Terror.
Vanezis also acted as both producer and director on the 2|entertain documentary, A New Body at Last, and both produced and directed the minisode Global Conspiracy?, an exclusive story released on the DVD release of The Green Death.
He was also responsible for video effects and editing in the Reeltime Pictures home video story Shakedown: Return of the Sontarans. He also directed the home video The Crusade which featured William Russell in a linking narrative for that story.
In 2019, he directed the video short, The Trial, filmed to promote the upcoming Doctor Who: The Collection — Season 23 Blu-ray boxset release.
Paul has played a significant role in the recovery of lost episodes, and apparently knows of at least two 'missing' episodes that currently sit in the possession of a private collector. The return of said prints, however, is completely up to them.
He contributed to the audio commentary for The Reign of Terror.
