A Dalek was encountered by an echo Fifth Doctor on a theatre set in an imitation of New Florence in a time bubble. Though the Doctor could see it for what it was, the people perceived the Dalek as an executioner who wielded an axe. The Dalek eventually exterminated the echo of the Doctor, allowing the true Doctor to regain his mobility and agency, before it was erased as part of the bubble's collapse. (AUDIO: Interlude)
