Plan views.

La Sirena, or simply Sirena, was an unregistered, warp-capable Kaplan F17 speed freighter owned and operated by Captain Cristóbal Rios during the late 24th century. Its assignment patch consisted of a stylised blue and orange pair of sirens. (PIC episode: "The End is the Beginning")

Service history and disposition[]

It was equipped with a transporter, a holomatrix, and an Emergency Hologram basic installation. Rios had maintained the ship to Starfleet standards, despite the fact that he had left the service. The Emergency Hologram basic installation provided the ship with a holographic crew based on emergency holograms. (PIC episode: "The End is the Beginning")

In 2399, retired admiral Jean-Luc Picard hired this ship for his mission to find Doctor Bruce Maddox and Soji Asha. A few weeks after Picard had hired Rios and retrieved Asha, La Sirena's power was deactivated, and the ship crashed onto the surface of the planet Coppelius. At the time of the Romulan attack led by Zhat Vash operative Oh, La Sirena was restored and took part in the battle. (PIC: "The End is the Beginning", "Absolute Candor", "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1", "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2")

Legacy[]

In the early 25th century, the design of La Sirena was adapted to become the Khitomer Alliance's La Sirena-class heavy raider. In the 2410s decade, this was essentially a larger, combat-oriented version of the originally speed freighter. (STO website: Legacy: La Sirena Soars into Star Trek Online)
