Vasoconstriction was the narrowing of the blood vessels resulting from contraction of the muscular wall of the vessels.
In 2371, Julian Bashir flooded Bareil Antos' nervous system with neurogenic radiation in order to revive him. This had the secondary effect of causing a kind of selective vasoconstriction of the arteries, resulting in an inadequate blood flow to Bareil's internal organs. (DS9: "Life Support")
