Theta (classification)

In the mirror universe, theta was a classification of Terran slaves that were moderately highly ranked and entrusted with certain important tasks.

Miles O'Brien was classified as a theta in 2370, and was relatively well-respected by Intendant Kira Nerys.

Another Terran, less respected, was 0413 Theta, who attempted stowing on board a freighter but was caught by security. He was demoted to a lambda by Kira and interrogated by Gul Elim Garak. (DS9: "Crossover", "Through the Looking Glass")
