Show newest/actionable content first on home page #22

Home page should show newest and actionable content on top, with less frequently changing things below.

Actionable things

  • contact links (SMS/Twitter/IM/etc buttons)
  • next upcoming event so people can RSVP

Frequently changing things

Current status

  • current location (and current local time)
  • last venue checked into
  • last night's sleep
  • IM status (on IRC/gchat right now?)

Incremental improvement: Swapped notes and articles today. Now the primary list you see is my notes feed, articles are in the sidebar.

new website has a home page specific chunk at the top for this.
