(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline requirement nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) supplementary essay. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. Not mentioned in our article on Culhwch ac Olwen or Geraint fab Erbin, which goes to show that they are a very, very minor Arthurian character, a background character who just gets their name mentioned in passing in few verses. Maybe someone can find a list this could be redirected to? I'd say List of Arthurian characters but he is not mentioned there either, so I guess a merge might be feasible if he is not too minor to be included in that list (not sure if it has any criteria for inclusion...)? • Redirect - Fails to meet WP:GNG. I'd imagine Arthurian characters, no matter how minor, at least deserve a redirect somewhere. I added a link to the above mentioned character list, so that'd be good enough. TTN (talk) 12:26, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge The only significant treatment I have seen in a short search was in the The Oxford Companion to the Literature of Wales, so I guess as long as no more such sources can be found this does not have to have a separate article. But I'd agree with TTN that even a minor Arthurian character deserves treatment. Penpingion does appear in List of Arthurian characters now, so I guess this would be the place to merge the current content - not only redirected, because it is all sourced and deserves to be preserved according to WP:AtD. • Merge per Daranios. I would recommend List of Arthurian characters as the target article. Aoba47 (talk) 21:14, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
