Fathalla Rihan is an Egyptian professor, who received his PhD (Doctor of Philosophy), in 2000 In “Mathematics”, a thesis titled “Numerical Treatments of Delay Differential Equations in Biosciences”, School of Mathematics, The University of Manchester, UK (QS Rank: 26); DSc. (Doctor of Science), 2019, in “Physics and Mathematics”, topics in “Qualitative and Quantitative Features of Delay Differential Equations and Their Applications”; MSc. (Master of Science in Mathematics), 1991, Helwan University, Egypt; BSc. In Mathematics, 1986, Alexandria University, Egypt. Since joining UAEU in August 2008, he has maintained and led strong research groups in Mathematical Biology; Mathematical Modeling in Medicine and Infectious Diseases; Numerical solutions of Delay Differential Equations (DDEs), PDEs, and ODE. He is leading several research projects with local and international collaborators. Dr Rihan is supervising some PhD students and PostDoc research assistants. Prof Rihan is an expert in quality assurance and accreditation of higher education institutions; He is the College representative for ABET Accreditation for the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission (ANSAC).
