I believe that I should have new page reviewer rights because it would help dramatically with my reversion of vandalism. If you check my edit history, I am a very experienced vandal fighter, and have participated in numerous move discussions, and moved several pages.   • At face value you're qualified for this permission, but your confusing request gives me pause. How exactly do you believe this will help "dramatically" with your anti-vandalism work? I'm having trouble seeing how this would help you at all. For the most part new page patrol has nothing to do with anti-vandalism. Swarm ♠ 05:46, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of vandals lately have been creating new pages that are purely vandalism. This would help in terms of finding pages that are obvious vandalism, and finding them as quickly as possible. I edit articles on a daily basis. I have been patrolling recent changes and reviewing pending changes to play a small part in reducing vandalism on the encyclopedia. I am pretty familiar with WP policies and guidelines. I am polite to new users and IP addresses, as they are often confused about their actions, but they are still welcomed to contribute. @Swarm: That block dates back to late January, which is definitely not 6 months ago. I recreated a page which was previously deleted, and I used Facebook posts as references, both of which I don't consider as a problem at that time, I didn't actually read any policies. Clearly, the page ended up being speedy deleted, and I got a 3-day block. It wasn't long before I realized that I acted like a new user at that time. Since then, I got more and more familiarized with policies and guidelines through editing, creating articles, discussing. Undoubtedly, I can't meet that line, but I have indeed gradually improved in terms of my behavior since the block, you can refer to my contribs. I hope you could consider my request, thank you. I recently got rollback rights and I've been trying to expand my privileges because all I've been really doing in the past month is reverting vandalism, I've created three pages today alone and roughly 15 in total.
