Page mover

I am an experienced editor of 3 years (I became active in late 2021) with 7,000+ edits [1] and the creator of 62 mainspace articles [2]. I require page mover permissions for moving the numerous "Uyezd" articles (e.g. Akkermansky Uyezd) to "uezd" per this consensus. An admin, Fayenatic london, asked me to take the initiative for renaming these articles [3] [4] as I was one of the move-supporters (and have been the main improver of the Caucasus-located uezd articles, so I am very well-versed with the subject (I've researched Russian Empire subdivisions and Russian transliteration system for nearly 2-years). I also require the page-moving permissions for various other moves, such as uncontroversial Armenian village renamings per romanisation and other policies – relevant to this last point, see the index of Armenian settlements I've written based on governmental data. I want to move User:Conservapedia without leaving behind a redirect, because it's a userbox that wasn't created by the actual owner of the account "Conservapedia" (WP:PMRC#3). It seems plausible that I'll run into similar situations in the future, so I thought I'd request the permission. This would also allow me to draftify new pages without leaving a redirect when I'm new-page-patrolling. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 05:42, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I'm not sure a desire to move one page is sufficient need anyway, but that page has lot of transclusions and incoming links that would be broken if you did what you propose. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:30, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Pythoncoder: If you do not object, may I move it over to Template:User Conservapedia? Alternatively, you may move it, bypass most incoming links & transclusions, and then WP:G6 the redirect. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 19:14, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Go right ahead —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 19:34, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am working through Baltoscandinavia categories and category moving (without leaving redirects) would be good not to clutter Wikipedia database with unnecessary redirects, e.g. Category:1940 Finish novels (should be Finnish). I am already admin in Wikidata, and I am already page mover in Commons Estopedist1 (talk) 11:06, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'm requesting an indefinite extension of page mover permissions, and the trial expires in a bit (courtesy ping User:Salvio giuliano). During that period, I've found the perms indispensable in draftifying articles not quite ready for mainspace, as well as helping out at WP:RMTR and closing the occasional WP:RM discussion. This would assist a lot. Thanks! Silikonz💬 18:07, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
