Swarnawahini, which means "Golden Channel" in Sinhala is a leading Sri Lankan news and entertainment channel. It is owned by E.A.P. Edirisingha (Pvt) Ltd. and was formally named ETV 1. It was founded in the 1990's along with sister channel ETV. The channel has many popular programs such as Rasasaraniya, the community support program Janasarana and the unbiased news feature called Live at 8.
