Chris Monlux and Greg Olson are co-workers and made a demo of his vocals on [[Garage Band]] recordings Hogan Made. Greg shortly after joined the band. After a few months of practice the band ran an add on [[craigslist]] for a second guitar and sound maker. Matt tried out and quickly was asked to join. |

The Remainder is a Rock Band from Chico, California. The band is made up of Hogan Brown on Guitar, Randy Presleigh on Bass, Chris Monlux on Drums, Greg Olson on Vocals, and Matt Bowhall on Guitar, Slide Guitar, Mandolin, samples and Synth.
Founded by Hogan Brown and Randy Presligh in 2007-08, Chris Monlux joined the band after Hogan and Randy answered his ad on craigslist. Chris Monlux and Greg Olson are co-workers and made a demo of his vocals on Garage Band recordings Hogan Made. Greg shortly after joined the band.
