Gyan Chand Jain (1932- present) is an Indian author and publisher known for his contributions to Electronics and IT/Computer Science. He was honored by the Government of India, in 2002, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri^[1],^[2],^[3]. Gyan Chand Jain was born in 1932 in a small town named Giddarbaha (Punjab). It is known that during his school days, he developed a strong interest in electronics and pursued it as a hobby. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rajendra Govt College, Bhatinda (Punjab) in 1956.
