*:: No, the current title was changed from the previous one, and now the network has decided to change it back. The title should once more be Lioness --> Lioness (TV series) --> Lioness (American TV series). We do not prefer to use the wrong title just because it makes titling Wikipedia articles very slightly more convenient. If you actually oppose this technical move, and didn't simply want to give your personal explanation of the current title that is feasible but unlikely, please move it to Contested technical requests. *:::I agree with SilverLocust. Best to retain the present title as natural disambiguation. It isn't "wrong", as that was the title of the first and only series so far. If the common name in future drops the "Special Ops" to the point that it would be unusual and confusing to include it, we could think again, but for now I think it best to retain it. — [[User:Amakuru|Amakuru]] ([[User talk:Amakuru|talk]]) 14:39, 12 May 2024 (UTC) |

If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place.

- To list a technical request: Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.{{subst:RMassist|current page title|new title|reason=edit summary for the move}}
the - If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

Uncontroversial technical requests
- Number 12: When Greed and Corruption Become the Norm → Number 12 (move · discuss) – per WP:CONCISE & WP:PRECISE. Hatnote for the number page is provided at the current page. Intrisit (talk) 12:09, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- KTTU (TV) (currently a redirect to KTTU-TV) → KTTU-TV (move · discuss) – Suffix added to callsign effective 5/16/2024 Mvcg66b3r (talk) 07:50, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- If it's not due to change until the 16th,then at least it should wait until then. Would also need evidence of source usage per WP:NAMECHANGES. I couldn't see anything about this myself. — Amakuru (talk) 07:13, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- Special Ops: Lioness → Lioness (American TV series) (currently a redirect back to Special Ops: Lioness) (move · discuss) – old name has been reinstated[1][2] but old article has 2 edits (which is more than 1) CapnZapp (talk) 14:07, 11 May 2024 (UTC)

- I agree with SilverLocust. Best to retain the present title as natural disambiguation. It isn't "wrong", as that was the title of the first and only series so far and still retained on Paramount's website. If the common name in future drops the "Special Ops" to the point that it would be unusual and confusing to include it, we could think again, but for now I think it best to retain it. — Amakuru (talk) 14:39, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

- Callum "Halfway" Highway (currently a redirect to Callum Highway) → Callum Highway (move · discuss) – Per Special:Permalink/1222900139#Requested move 22 April 2024. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 07:44, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

- Mont-Tremblant Airport (currently a redirect to Mont-Tremblant International Airport) → Mont-Tremblant Airport (disambiguation) (move · discuss) – Per Special:Permalink/1219910297#Requested move 11 April 2024. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 09:18, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- Ңajoti Miⱨnati (currently a redirect to Ⱨajoti Miⱨnati) → Ⱨajoti Miⱨnati (restricted by the titleblacklist, which page movers can override) (move · discuss) – incorrectly mixed scripts (1st letter Cyrillic, the rest Latin), see also the fix or Bukharian (Judeo-Tajik dialect) (and inspect the characters used); also Unicode charts (I'm, looking at ver. 15.1 now) don't suggest one should be prefered variant of the other; some anti-move protection is in action (matches an entry .*[ⱧȢƪƪҤҺԊѓԍҥҩԌЃϓғҒЊӷⱤɌɍᵲᶉɼᵃᵍᴱᵣᔮᓂᑫᓈᒦ٨٣ץױוזשלﬨטּפּבּڠɆɇᶒⱸȺⱥᶏ١].* <casesensitive | moveonly> # Letter lookalikes; none of these are currently used in any mainspace title on the local or global blacklists. …) Mykhal (talk) 13:59, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

Contested technical requests
- NoBull (currently a redirect to Nobull) → NOBULL (currently a redirect instead to Nobull) (move · discuss) – The official company name is NOBULL, not NoBull, and is always stylized NOBULL Jcostas81 (talk) 13:01, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per MOS:TRADEMARK HouseBlaster (talk · he/him) 13:30, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- It should be Nobull, I think, based on third-party news articles pretty evenly using Nobull or NOBULL. E.g., CNBC, Business Insider. I see rather fewer with "NoBull" (MOS:CAMELCASE) or "No Bull". SilverLocust 💬 18:01, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per MOS:TRADEMARK HouseBlaster (talk · he/him) 13:30, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- The Color of Crime (book) → The Color of Crime: Racial Hoaxes, White Fear, Black Protectionism, Police Harassment and Other Macroaggressions (currently a redirect back to The Color of Crime (book)) (move · discuss) – Per WP:SUBTITLE. JohnCWiesenthal (talk) 15:21, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- I think the proposed title violates WP:CONCISE. Bensci54 (talk) 16:16, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- I would oppose that per WP:SUBTITLE and WP:CONCISE. Graham (talk) 21:33, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Namboothiri (disambiguation) → Namboothiri (currently a redirect instead to Nambudiri) (move · discuss) – WP:NOPT Jax 0677 (talk) 00:26, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- This is likely correct now as a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT as a spelling variant of the caste (Nambudiri), which is a broad article that itself serves a disambiguating purpose by including links to notable people therein. And examples of people with the surname may be partial title matches except to the extent they are known mononymously (which does appear to be the case with Namboothiri (artist)). SilverLocust 💬 03:31, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- Israel in the Iran–Iraq War (currently a redirect to Israeli support for Iran during the Iran–Iraq war) → Israeli support for Iran during the Iran–Iraq war (move · discuss) – moving the article to its original title that is now a redirect. Damian Lew (talk) 19:44, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Damian Lew: The last stable title was "Israel's role in the Iran–Iraq [W/w]ar" for about 7-8 years. The title you're requesting hasn't been in place since 2015, and proved to be controversial. I would be fine with reverting the move from 8 month ago by a WP:BLOCKEVADING user, but for the original title you'll need to open a requested move with a substantive reason to prefer that title. SilverLocust 💬 20:41, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- The article's title was unilaterally changed about 7-8 years ago without a substantial reason provided nor a request made. I've just now contested the move in the talk page of the article in question, citing that the previous title gave a more apt description of the article's content (as can be observed from the first sentence of the article) and it is more in line with other article titles from the same conflict, thus the move made years ago was wholly arbitrary.
