I first registered this account - my first - April 20, 2007. Since then, I've gotten involved pretty deeply in AfD work. I see it as a chance to triage articles that are flawed, but may yet have potential. If you need access to a Wikipedia article that has been deleted, ask me. If it's not a copyright violation, libel, or personal information, and has not been deleted as a suspected biographies of living persons violation, I will userfy the article for you. Note that using the text to recreate any deleted article may automatically qualify them for speedy deletion, and copies of previously deleted content that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion because Wikipedia is not a free web host. We have a list of alternative sites which may be used to host your content. I maintain a sock account AVPW primarily for use on public networks. In the event of a compromised account, I specifically request any administrator to honor a request from AVPW to block this account, and absolve you in advance of any repercussions. To do list:

Reason: Suggest indefinite autoconfirmed protection. Almost every edit to the page for the last four (if not fourteen) years has been vandalism by IPs or new/few-edit accounts, or reverts thereof. As long as the long-running IRL debate (among people who like or dislike warlocks) over what the word 'really means' continues, I see no reason to think on-wiki vandalism will ever stop. Few if any productive edits are made to this page by non-autoconfirmed editors; indeed, other than vandalism and reverts thereof, few edits are made to the page at all (cf. the few differences between 2021, 100 revisions ago, and now). -sche (talk) 01:20, 27 September 2024 (UTC) Extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – Disruptive editing by COI editors. GnocchiFan has made 5,000+ edits this year alone including seven Good Articles. They make extensive use of WMF Library to improve sourcing and prose. I believe they are both an excellent editor and also communicator, evident at sensitive article topics at 1984 anti-Sikh riots and Gender and sexual minorities in the Ottoman Empire. In short, let's reduce NPP backlog by giving them auto-patrolled status. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:11, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
Seems to be an experienced content creator whose creations are no longer in need of input from NPP. They don't have a clean record of their articles being kept at AfD, but the last deletion was a year and half and 60 articles ago, and looking through a random sampling of their work since then doesn't reveal any major issues. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 04:50, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

File moveredit
I am requesting file mover rights because I have experience in handling and maintaining various file types and I believe my contributions to several files and my various file rename requests as seen in the editing history here showcase my understanding of the naming policy for files. File names are often a decent part of my contributions with film and television-related articles, and carrying out these renames to satisfy naming conventions rather than having to request them every time a file needs to be renamed would prove beneficial in their up-keeping. I occasionally rename new articles to fix poor titles. I also sometimes want to move new articles to draftspace. Generally, neither case needs a redirect for the old title. — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 11:23, 19 September 2024 (UTC)
I frequently make/request moves – usually either making titles WP:CONCISE, or draftifying/fixing typos in titles as part of WP:NPP. I would like to be able to handle more of these myself, including WP:R2 suppression, but especially WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA pageswaps. These usually require updating the categories afterward, which will be much easier if I'm doing the pageswap myself, rather than remembering to come back once my request at WP:RM/T is carried out. Speaking of which, I've really appreciated WP:RM/T, and if I'm granted the pagemover right I intend to "give back" by handling requests there. jlwoodwa (talk) 01:09, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

Hello hello, I have been a Wikipedian for well over 4 months now, and I feel that I have learned a great many things about the site in terms of editing, content, policies, and conduct that I could have never imagined beforehand. If given this right, I humbly commit to using it to the utmost competent and fair / legitimate nature that I possibly can. Thank you Aliy Dawut (talk) 02:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
I have been contributing to pages for three years now, with prior experience in patrolling edit filter log. I would like to get reviewer rights so I can contribute to Wikipedia in more ways than I am able to, presently, and help with the backlog. Since my last request in July, I've been making a track record of communicating collegially with other editors, in my talk page and elsewhere. I hope you'll consider me. Thank you. — hhypeboyh 💬 • ✏️ 23:11, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
I've been doing RC Patrolling (as a part of Anti-Vandalism) on Wikipedia for a while now, and I think that having the Pending Changes reviewer permission could be a good idea - there have been numerous instances involving a pending changes edit that I look at while looking through Special:RecentChanges that i wanted to accept/deny/etc, and i feel that this permission would be beneficial for my efficeincy. DM5Pedia 04:34, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
Hi! I believe that I'd be a good Pending Changes Reviewer, as I have a good amount of time on my hands, and can do monotonous tasks, like denying obvious vandalism, and the like. I meet, what I believe are all the requirements for this right, and humbly ask to receive this privilege. Thanks in advance! Legendbird (talk) 09:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

I am active on English Wikipedia, primarily editing articles related to Sri Lanka. During the recent presidential election, I encountered multiple instances of vandalism and disruptive editing on related pages, necessitating the reversion of several edits along with sucessful requests for page protection. However, resolving these issues proved challenging due to edit conflicts, which prevented a simple undo and required manual corrections that were both tedious and time-consuming. Given the contentious nature of the period and the number of significant upcoming events, I would appreciate being granted rollback rights to better combat vandalism and disruptive editing. QEnigma (talk) 08:33, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
I rely on mobile scripts for this purpose, but they occasionally fail to function properly. Obtaining rollback rights would enable me to manage these issues more efficiently. Thanks. –𝐎𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐥 𝐐𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢 ʕʘ̅͜ʘ̅ʔ 01:27, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
