Belva Ann Lockwood (nee Bennett) (1830 - 1917) was a U.S. feminist and lawyer. She was the first female lawyer to argue before the Supreme Court in 1879. She was the National Equal Rights Party presidential candidate in 1884, and in the next election in 1888.
