Fans are still reeling from Janet Jackson's split from husband Wissam Al Mana, which came just three months after she gave birth to their first child together, son Eissa.
While the two have been married since 2012, little is known about Jackson's notoriously private husband. According to People, the 50-year-old superstar and the 42-year-old Qatari businessman separated shortly after the baby was born due to "cultural differences."

For years, Janet tried to adapt to his culture. Since it's not a culture she grew up with, it's been challenging for her. She often felt she disappointed Wissam."

American indie production company Big Bad Film recently wrapped up their first project, the slasher film Bastard. And today they have released the first unrated teaser for their film. Get ready for some decent gore. It is ever so slightly Nsfw. Bastard follows newlywed, hitch-hiking serial killers, a brother and sister on the run, and a suicidal, alcoholic cop as they get caught in an increasingly bizarre series of murders committed by a masked killer near a mountain-town bed and breakfast. The film, infused with the blood of cult slasher films like The Burning and Halloween, includes a throwback retro score, all practical effects, and stars genre veterans Rebekah Kennedy (Season of the Witch/House Hunting) and Tonya Kay (Raze/Dark Space). Newcomers Ellis Greer, Dan Creed, Will Tranfo,...

Spotted those shiny boxed horror movies in your local Tesco? Craig's watched them. All of them.
There's a certain type of horror film fan who enjoys a challenge. Perhaps they like a sense of adventure with their films. Perhaps there's also an element of gambling. It starts small. Low odds. For example, they might buy a boxset of the Alien Quadrilogy. Four seemingly reasonable films but there's an element of both chance and endurance. Can you sit through nearly eight hours of Alien films? And, if you can, how many of them will you like? Eventually not only does the thrill become harder to chase as the product's effect gets weaker (anyone who's bought Hellraiser boxsets will know the rules of diminishing returns) but there are only a finite number of franchises in the world and the hardened need to find new, strange ways of getting their kicks.
So bear with me.

In the series finale of Being Human... sacrifices.
Before I begin this review, I want to acknowledge something. When a show has its finale, there are always, always going to be people who love it and people who hate it, with very few in the middle. It's impossible to please everyone, after all. Some people want a happy ending that leaves us feeling like the people we've come to love are in a good place and we no longer need to worry about their lives. Others want an ending that reflects the overall tone of the show and lives up to whatever attitudes it has taken over the course of its run. So in going into this finale, I recognize that some of you may...

3.12 House Hunting
In this week's episode of Being Human... pure psychological torture. For both the characters and the viewers.
The plot of this episode is pretty simple: it is revealed that Ramona was offered as a sacrifice by her parents to the demon Paimon and is not actually a ghost, but rather the physical embodiment of evil in the house. And as the gang attempts to move on into their post-murder house lives (Josh and Nora into Nora's apartment, Aidan and Sally into the werewolf camper), Ramona laughs her evil laugh and proceeds to psychologically torture all of them into a giant murder-suicide pact that they don't quite manage to escape; Aidan ends up staking Kenny, who uses his last few moments...

Moving can be a real pain. Finding that perfect house can be an even bigger inconvenience. Well, if I ever had any sort of informal education from horror movies, I’ve learned two fundamental truths. There’s gonna be trouble if hooking up with a beautiful woman is effortlessly easy, or if you run across a seemingly sweet real estate property at a ridiculously low price. I’ll go a bit further and say that said real estate property is probably going to be a murder house inhabited by a vengeful spirit with some serious emotional baggage. I would almost bet the farm on it.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that The Wrong House is yet another “in the woods” slasher flick given the generic DVD box art (which is decidedly similar to 101 Films’ previous release The Lodge) and the films desolate cabin in the woods setting. For a movie about a real-estate bargain that turns out to be far too good to be true, it seems perversely appropriate you have to forgive a lot - I mean a lot - to get into The Wrong House (a.k.a. House Hunting). Eric Hurt's low-budget American horror story comes with a litany of caveats that are almost objectively bad, bad, embarrassingly bad, from a dull, mawkish script to a cast who don't know what to do with it half the time to amateurish direction and effects. It sounds like the pitch for some godawful Dtv piece of torture porn, and the prologue seems as if it's headed there at full throttle with Hurt counting up the ancillary revenues all the way.And then slowly but...

All roads lead back to a haunted house and House Hunting is one indie horror film that you will want to seek out despite a circular storyline.

House Hunting is your typical, "let's skip the theaters, and show up straight to your house" movie. It stars Marc Singer, who is probably best known for his role in the Beastmaster, along with Janey Gioiosa, Hayley DuMond, Paul McGill, Rebekah Kennedy, Victoria Vance and Art Lafleur. The movie involves two families who are on their way to an open house pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Upon arriving at the old house, they soon discover t…...

The search for the ideal home can be one of the single most stressful things anyone has to deal with. It's a series of phone calls, background checks, bank dealings, more phone calls, and then once you're done even more background checks, bank dealings, and more phone calls. Add some spookiness to the mix and boom now you have an even worse headache.
Below you'll find the first trailer for Eric Hurt's House Hunting starring Marc Singer, Janey Gioiosa, Hayley DuMond, Paul McGill, Rebekah Kennedy, Victoria Vance and Art Lafleur.
Look for more on this one as it comes.
Synopsis
If the American dream for most families is buying a house then for the two families headed to what they think is a simple open house, their dream is about to become a nightmare. We meet our two very different families as they search for the perfect house to call a home.

The Beastmaster goes berserk in this stunning trailer for supernatural horror flick, House Hunting! The indie thriller originally caught my attention for three reasons. First, its premise of two families caught in a house that won't let them leave offered an intriguing old-school premise. Second, it's got a pretty odd ensemble cast in Marc Singer (V, Eagle Eye), Art Lafleur (Field of Dreams, The Rig, Cobra), Rebekah Kennedy (Season of the Witch, Creature) and Paul McGill (Man on Wire, Fame). and third, it's the directorial debut of Dp Eric Hurt, who most recently worked on a scifi flick we're dying to see called called Atlantis Down which is premiering at London Scifi Film Festival right away.

"House Hunting" a psychological horror thriller written/directed by Eric Hurt. The indie feature is a contemporary exploration of the notion that “hell is other people” and is inspired, in part, on existential philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre’s 1944 play No Exit. House Hunting is a blend of traditional ghost story and psychological thriller. An ensemble piece, it represents two families as they descend into madness while trapped inside a deserted farmhouse.
House Hunting stars Marc Singer (Beastmaster, TV series V), Art Lafleur (Field of Dreams , The Sandlot), Hayley DuMond (Hunter’s Moon), Paul McGill (Fame, Man on Wire), Jamee Vance, Janey Gioiosa and Rebekah Kennedy.
The production team includes writer/director Eric Hurt, executive producer Amy Carney, producers Pat Cassidy & Erica Arvold, Bryan Bieber, Deanna Gould, directors of photography Todd Free & Eric Hurt, production designer Tim Beyerle, and casting director Erica Arvold.

Producer Bart Van Bemmel dropped us a line with an update on his upcoming web series, "Throwing Stones" and as purveyors of all manner of badassery it is our duty to share.
"Throwing Stones is an upcoming 5-part teen horror web series that just finished filming in Dallas, Texasm and stars Lindsay Siedel (The Final), Cherami Leigh (The Mist, Fast Food Nation, HBO's Temple Grandin), Rebekah Kennedy (upcoming horror features House Hunting, Blood is Blood), Kayla Carlyle (From the Dark), Chad Cox (Powder, ER, The Good Guys) and more.
The concept of Throwing Stones derives from the sociologist theory on broken windows. A broken window is left unfixed in a neighborhood; it signals to that community it's acceptable for that type of behavior to take place. These ideas compound until the neighborhood becomes decayed and unable to achieve its past grandeur. Now apply the theory to schools and replace broken windows with broken students,...
