Bill O'Reilly brought on Bernard Goldberg tonight to analyze how much the media has covered Benghazi in the aftermath of yesterday's big hearing. O'Reilly noted how Fox News gave it the most coverage, the nightly newscasts gave it a few minutes of coverage, and MSNBC pretty much ignored it. Goldberg said that MSNBC ignoring the story basically makes the network no more than...

Have you noticed Bill O'Reilly has been talking about himself quite a lot lately? Well, tonight in a second segment devoted to the fallout over his "thump the Bible" comment that angered religious conservatives, O'Reilly brought on Bernard Goldberg to talk about the culture war being waged. Goldberg defended O'Reilly, but made it clear he is actually pro-gay marriage, telling O'Reilly, "I disagree with just about every syllable you've ever uttered on the subject of gay marriage."...

Bernie Goldberg To O’Reilly: Journalists ‘Slobbering’ Over Hillary Clinton Lack ‘Embarrassment Gene’
Bill O'Reilly opened his show tonight reacting to how softly Hillary Clinton was handled by the media following her testimony on Benghazi earlier this week. O'Reilly and guest Bernard Goldberg agreed that the media is fawning over Clinton just as much as they have fawned over President Obama for the last four years. Goldberg told O'Reilly that it ultimately does not matter how many people raise cain over this because journalists today lack an "embarrassment gene."...

Bill O'Reilly brought on Bernard Goldberg tonight to take on the almost immediate politicization of last Friday's tragic shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut. Both O'Reilly and Goldberg agreed that the liberal media was very quick to jumpstart the gun control debate, but Goldberg acknowledged there was a fair amount of politicization on the right from people who he said want assault weapons not because of the Second Amendment, but because of their paranoia over the government coming to take away their guns.

The latest media bias controversy has put sportscaster Bob Costas in the spotlight over a brief piece of commentary last night in which he used the murder-suicide case involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher to suggest gun control needs to be revisited. Costas came under some serious fire from conservatives, but on Bill O'Reilly's show tonight, Bernard Goldberg stood up for his friend and said Costas has nothing against guns nor the Second Amendment.

One of the first details to come out about Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes, that he was connected to the Tea Party, turned out to be inaccurate. Bill O'Reilly and Bernard Goldberg criticized ABC"s Brian Ross for his irresponsible reporting, and ended up clashing with each other over whether someone's connection to a politically-active group would be relevant in a case like this.

With the Iowa caucus less than 24 hours away, there is still some hesitation in the media that the caucus, not being an actual election and being somewhere in the Midwest, isn't entirely representative of the nation. On tonight's O'Reilly Factor, media critic Bernard Goldberg took on precisely this claim from Andrea Mitchell, suggesting that it was only acceptable in the mainstream media to say Iowa wasn't representative of the nation because it was white. "We're not going to hear that South Carolina... is too black," he argued.

When Senator Robert Byrd died last week, many wondered how eulogizers might treat his role as a leader/recruiter in a local chapter of the Ku Klux Klan. Former President Bill Clinton answered those questions during the memorial service, ostensibly defending Byrd's part in the Klan by saying "he was a country boy from the hills and hollows of West Virginia," adding "he was trying to get elected." Fox News' Media Analyst Bernard Goldberg took exception to what he saw as a cavalier excuse of Byrd's racist past.
