Farmers' Market Bounty

F.I.'s poem "Farmers' Market Bounty," inspired by the Hillsdale Farmer's Market, appears in the July 21, 2016 issue of The Hillsdale Farmers' Market Grapevine newsletter (scroll to Your Market Basket near the end or search for Goldhaber).

The short story "Watching the Door" by Joel and F.I. Goldhaber* won Third Place in the 2016 Baen Fantasy Adventure Award.

The third annual Baen award recognizes "the best piece of original short fiction that captures the spirit and tradition of such great storytellers as Larry Correia, Eric Flint, Robert E. Howard, Mercedes Lackey, Elizabeth Moon, Andre Norton, J.R.R. Tolkien and David Weber."

The award was accepted at Gen Con "in memory of Bev and Jerry Goldhaber, F.I.'s parents, who supported and encouraged us both in our writing endeavors."
