ESPN’s working hard to keep the Winter X Games green
ASPEN, Colo. — In the video above Fabian DeGarbo, ESPN’s senior manager of global sustainability, discusses the measures the company is taking to ensure it remains environmentally friendly at the Winter X Games.
From using a dirt base in its snow machine to conserve water, to donating leftover food to a soup kitchen to setting up compost, paper and plastic bins all around the site, ESPN is working hard to stay green.
The Winter X Games air Thursday through Sunday on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC.
