Hi Kayas0706! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 23:36, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi jlwoodwa,
- Thank you for pointing that out. I apologize for any confusion caused by marking the edit as minor. I understand now that minor edits should only refer to superficial changes that could never be disputed, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. I will be more careful in the future to ensure that any edit changing the meaning of an article is not marked as minor.
- Thanks again for your guidance and understanding.
- Best regards,
