Description
Open Joint-Stock Company Zaporozhye Steel-Rolling Plant (formerly called Zaporozhye State Metalware Plant) is one of the city's oldest enterprises. Its official birth date is May 23, 1916. The plant has grown out of the ranks of Riga Wire Industries plant which was transferred to Aleksandrovsk town (today Zaporozhye) in 1914 because of the World War I.
The plant is equipped to manufacture up to 300 tonnes of wire and nails, 5000 tonnes of conductors and 5 mln sq. m. of steel wire netting annually.
"Trade House "Metizy", LTD was established in March 2000 with the goal of separating production and sales. "Trade House "Metizy" is responsible for researching markets for materials and finished products as well as for sales proper. Established long-term relations with suppliers ensure the materials are delivered in a timely manner.
