- Conceived by Nicky Ravine, the Femairies Project is a work in progress covering a span of 10 years to date. Mid way through a successful career as an Advertising Creative Director, Nicky felt a pent up desire to create a form of art unfettered by the dictates of clients and marketing. Returning to fine art roots, Nicky began a series of photo realistic surrealism paintings. While satisfying, Nicky also desired to work with the tools, technology and skills acquired from years as a Creative Director. By combining imagination, the internet and photography the Femairies Project was born.
